A PM TAP+ Isolator, or Polarization Maintaining Tap Isolator, is a compact device that combines a tap coupler and a polarization sensitive isolator. It has many useful characteristics, including: low insertion loss, high extinction ratio, high isolation, high return loss, and excellent environmental stability. 
 

PM TAP+ Isolators are ideal for fiber optic systems and fiber amplifiers that require signal monitoring. They are also commonly used in research, optics cutting, pump lasers, and EDFA.
