Product Description

High Power Wavelength Division Multiplexing (HP-WDM) is a fiber-optic transmission technique that uses multiple light wavelengths to send data over the same medium. HP-WDM combines and transmits multiple signals simultaneously using multiple wavelengths through the same fiber. This concept facilitates high-capacity communication by multiplexing independently modulated data channels that are amplified and transmitted simultaneously. 
 
 

High power WDM components are designed for operation at powers greater than 4 W. They are available in the 2x2 configuration only. Components intended for high power operation must be heat-sunk to ensure adequate housing and fiber performance.
