Product Description

A fiber reflector rotator mirror, also known as a Faraday rotator mirror (FRM), is a device that rotates the polarization of light by 90° and reflects it back through a fiber optic. FRMs are used in fiber optic networks and measurement applications. 
 
FRMs are made up of a Faraday rotator and a mirror. The Faraday rotator rotates the light by 45°, the mirror reflects it, and then the light passes through the Faraday rotator again. 
 
FRMs have many useful properties, including: Low insertion loss, Compact size, High stability, Rugged design, and Environmentally stable. 
 
 
FRMs are used in a variety of systems, including: sensoring, high bitrate communications, and optical amplifiers.
